TV to look forward to this Autumn

Strictly Come Tennissing (BBC 2)

Following another successful Wimbledon on the BBC, Claire Balding presents this spin-off pitting celebrity contestants against each other in a battle of wit and tennis. Featuring net calls almost every point and sweaty household names, younger viewers may find this disturbing.

Dating With Mirrors (BBC 3)

A dating show with a twist! Contestants sit back to back and use hairdresser-style mirrors to judge their date solely by the back of their head, culminating in a revolving chair reveal.

Chard (BBC 4)

Continuing BBC 4’s “Things The Young Have Forgotten” season, Christopher Biggins fronts this comprehensive look at Britain’s 29th favourite vegetable. With recipes, arts and crafts and a guest appearance from Alan Titchmarsh, this documentary epic is not to be missed.

Ant and Dec’s Benefit Roadshow (ITV 1)

Ant and Dec tour the nation in search of benefit cheats and evaluate the local public in their pop-up bus clinic. The only show that says “Don’t just watch the benefits, Win Them!”
